Double Cheeseburger

Serves 2

Ingredients

4, 4-oz burger patties

2 slices red onion

4 slices mild or sharp cheddar cheese

Lettuce and sliced tomato

Mayonnaise and ketchup

2 burger buns

Salt and pepper to taste

 

 

Cooking Directions

  • Heat grill to medium high. Cook burgers to your liking on the first side. Flip and place a slice of cheese on top of each burger to melt while the second side cooks.
  • Add buns face side down to grill to toast for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • To build your burger: Put condiments on toasted bun then stack tomato, a burger patty with cheese, onion, the second patty and more onion and lettuce. Season to taste
