Turkey Chili burger

Serves 2

Ingredients

2, 4 oz. turkey burger patties (room temperature)

2 slices red onion

2 slices beefsteak tomato

1/2 cup favorite chili (fresh or canned)

Lettuce

2 burger buns

 

Cooking Directions

  • Heat grill to medium high. Add onion slices and burger patties. Flip onions and patties to cook through on both sides. When done to your liking remove from grill.
  • Add buns face side down to grill to toast for 1 to 2 minutes.

To build your burger: Put desired condiments on toasted bun then stack lettuce, tomato, a burger patty, a generous spoonful of chili and grilled onion. Season to taste
